Los interruptores de la serie MICRO SWITCH™ GKL/R son interruptores de enclavamiento de seguridad de solenoide operados con llave de servicio pesado que incorporan un mecanismo de captura de llave. La llave atrapada unida al protector no se puede quitar del interruptor hasta que el circuito del solenoide del interruptor haya recibido una señal remota (desde un dispositivo de control) que indique que el proceso peligroso ha disminuido. Este diseño es para uso en maquinaria donde una parada instantánea es imposible (debido al impulso de la máquina) o poco práctica debido a las condiciones de la máquina (como completar un ciclo de la máquina o reducir la temperatura a un nivel seguro)
