POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS:

 Industrial
• Escalator obstruction detection – Roller actuator mounted behind skirt on escalators, if activated, power to the escalator is cut to avoid injury
• Air curtain – A component in a circuit for control of air stream
• Door or gate position – Can provide a signal when a door or gate is opened or closed
 • Commercial food processing – For large scale food preparation, to ensure all features are in the desired operating position

Transportation
• Traffic barrier signaling – If traffic barrier lowers, signal lights can be activated
